Is your life all that you want it to be?  For sure, there are bad things in life that you can’t avoid.  But what about the rest?  Many of us find ourselves in a situation that we do not want to be in, but we tolerate it rather than doing something about it.  Now’s your chance to take action!  Talk to a coach who can help you look at where you are now and make a plan to get to where you want to be.

I coach people have had a major change in their life and are now looking for the way forwards.  Typical situations might be:

  • Chronic illness - I can't do what I used to do but I still want a fulfilling life
  • Recovery from a serious accident or heart attack
  • Bereavement - what practical changes do I need to make to move on
  • Retirement - I'm not yet ready to stop completely
  • Redundancy - I need to reasssess what I can do and what I want to do

It is important to realise that change is an inevitable part of life and that you can maintain, or even improve, your health and wellbeing during the change.

Rather than rushing into a solution, I will help you to examine your values – those things that are of fundamental importance to you .  Together we will look at the options that are open to you and, once you have a better understanding of where you are now and where you want to go, I can help you set an achievable action plan to get you there.

A  coaching contract will  usually be for 12 sessions to start with and then extended if necessary.  My preference is to hold three 50 minute telephone coaching sessions every month, but we could discuss other options to suit you.  After the concentrated action of the first 6 sessions, many clients find it possible to drop to fortnightly or even monthly coaching sessions as they learn that they can take control of their own life.  Sessions can be held during the daytime or evening to fit in with your schedule.

A programme of coaching sessions is appropriate if you are wanting to make significant changes in your life.  However, if you are just needing help on a smaller issue that you are stuck with, I offer one off coaching sessions.
